Panchayaths and Ward Revision

The Panchayaths are subdivided into wards. There may be 10 to 23 wards in a Panchayath.
The Panchayath further subdivides in each Local Body Election.
and in the process, some panchayaths get divided into small panchayaths.
Some developed Panchayaths will be converted into or absorbed by Municipalities or Corporations.
